I AM DOING THIS LOG ON 3 SITES Bit-Tech.net,Hardforum.com,Austinmodders.com SO ILL TRY TO UPDATE THEM ALL WHEN I DO 1
Build is on a shuttle
hoping to move my gaming rig stuff into it as soon as i get a better mobo for it
P4 3.0 ht
1 gig ram
ati 9600xt
200gig
+80gig storage

This is my first engraving so please dont bust my chops 2 bad Thanks :rock:


(as you can see im not a god at engraving i tried my best and heres the result)

Planned is a powdercoated hard drive, powder coated dvd rom drive , possibly powdercoated frame
also i will be using allen bolts to hold the plexi glass windows in so it looks a little but urban and
i might get some mnpctech.com billet case handles (if he orders a new set to be machined)
the plexi will have some dark window tent on it.

did you use a diamond bit or the reg engrave bit? the diamond bits work alot better than the norm engrave bits. Looks good though. This is the one you want all the water cooling on the inside right?

i started with the small engraving bit and then i cleaned it up with a cone shaped diamond bit and i wish i could do watercooling i cant afford it at the sec Sad thats why i wish i had a sponsor i would love to do some watercooling

Shoot, I think that engraving looks pretty darn good.

Could you elaborate a little on powdercoating the DVD and Hard drive. I am curious how you are gunna do that....

i will powder coat the top metal casing of the dvd drive and the top casing of the hd i have 2 that are the same tops so i pulled one off and im gonna powder coat it and put it on the other drive once its done

lol took me a min to realize that there was a lamp behind the plexi in one of those shots. Looking good.

It might just be the camera angle, but it looks like there are still burs on the cuts?

its camera mainly and i had to redo my windows i realized once i tried my cold cathodes it was 2 dark i had 2 layers of limo on it so im only gonna put 1 layer should work better

Yeah I used 1 layer of Limo on LANtrix and it came out really good. 2 is getting a bit on the dark side.
