So I have been looking into getting a rework microscope so I can start doing some more detailed work at home. Anyone have input on something like this:
http://cgi.ebay.com/New-7x-45x-Binocular-Stereo-Zoom-Microscope-Boom-Stand-/200399147560?cmd=ViewItem&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2ea8b85228
It seems really cheap, but if it works, or could be modified easily to do what I want.....

Basically i need to be able to do fine pitch soldering at 0201 sizes.

That looks similar to what we use at work. I would say get the light ring also, I can't work without it.

My advice; would be to try to get comments from the people who bought it - to find out if it cheap chinese junk or actually worth the price.
